Don't you just hate spoilers? I do, too. That's why I always try to include warnings. However, I sometimes ramble a bit too much here or there and maybe a few (or many) key plot points slip without me giving proper notice. Al Davis (July 4, 1929 – October 8, 2011)
Al Davis died this morning at the age of 82. Very sad to hear this news even though I'm not a Raiders fan. He was one of the few owners that you actually could know by name while all of the other owners just blend into one.
Al was a little of everything. He was an assistant coach, a head coach, an owner and commissioner of the old AFL. He was also instrumental in the AFL-NFL merger. And he loved to stick his finger in the eye of the NFL every once in a while too.
