Don't you just hate spoilers? I do, too. That's why I always try to include warnings. However, I sometimes ramble a bit too much here or there and maybe a few (or many) key plot points slip without me giving proper notice. So I'd like to include a blanket spoiler warning for the weary internet travelers of the world: Here There Be Spoilers. You've been warned.

R.I.P. Ōtsuka Chikao (July 5, 1929 - January 15, 2015)

It's unfortunate to discover when heroes pass away. It's even more unfortunate to enjoy their talents too late in your life to have really appreciated them more while the person was still alive.

Yesterday the voice of Gol D. Roger from One Piece, Mercenary Tao from Dragonball, Professor Moriarty from Sherlock Hound, and Jūsan-daime Ishikawa Goemon from Lupin III passed away at the age of 85. He is also known for his role in Kingdom Hearts the video game series.

Truly a sad day to discover this news. Not that there would be any good day for it, either.

This is what I remember the man for: Gol D Roger, a man that died with a smile on his face.

Rest in peace now. I'll continue to relish and revisit your treasures.
