Don't you just hate spoilers? I do, too. That's why I always try to include warnings. However, I sometimes ramble a bit too much here or there and maybe a few (or many) key plot points slip without me giving proper notice. So I'd like to include a blanket spoiler warning for the weary internet travelers of the world: Here There Be Spoilers. You've been warned.

R.I.P. Andy Griffith (June 1, 1926- July 3, 2012)

What truly sad news this is for me to post about. I love The Andy Griffith Show and A Face in the Crowd is one of my favorite movies of all time. No, the movie didn't make my top 15, but it's in my top 25 or top 30.

Goodbye, Sheriff.

  1. An episode I love and always think of whenever The Andy Griffith Show is mentioned is the episode where Opie gets ripped off at the target shooting booth at the carnival. He was trying to win a prize for his dad. Andy found out and knew Opie was a crack shot so he went to the carnival to check it out. He discovered the guns were rigged. He and Opie went back with his own rifle and let the guys know he was the sheriff and proceeded to clean the place out as the booth owners stood by helplessly and watched Andy and Opie nail every target.
